David Beckham a été honoré d’une étoile sur le Walk of Fame d’Hollywood lors d’une cérémonie prestigieuse à Los Angeles.
L’ancien joueur de Manchester United, du Real Madrid et de l’équipe d’Angleterre a reçu cette distinction pour son immense impact mondial, aussi bien sur le terrain qu’en dehors.

L’événement de vendredi (12 juin 2026) a réuni son épouse Victoria Beckham, son ami de longue date Tom Cruise, ainsi que trois de leurs enfants — Harper, Cruz et Romeo (accompagné de sa petite amie Kim Turnbull).
Parmi les autres invités figuraient Eva Longoria et Robbie Keane.
Beckham a exprimé sa gratitude en déclarant : « Je n’arrive vraiment pas à y croire. Tout ce que je voulais, c’était devenir un joueur de football accompli pour Manchester United et l’Angleterre… »
« Alors aujourd’hui, avoir une étoile, devenir ‘sir’, toutes ces choses… Je me sens vraiment chanceux. »
Il s’agit seulement du cinquième sportif à recevoir une étoile sur le Walk of Fame d’Hollywood (et du quatrième dans la catégorie Divertissement sportif).
